The ASNEMGE Rising Star initiative has been part of the annual UEGW since 2003. Its aims are to promote and support the clinical and scientific activity in each of the national societies and to give young researchers a durable platform on the international stage.
Rising Stars will be featured at the UEGW and they are supposed to become the organisers and chairs of sessions of the future. This initiative assures that the UEGW remains youthful and vigorous and that top young clinicians and investigators are recognised early to become the leaders of tomorrow.
